The incredibly beautiful Bumbu Toys Large Summer Oak Tree with Woodpecker and nest is wonderfully tall and wide at 33cm high and 27cm across. Instantly recognisable by its thick trunk and full foliage, an Oak Tree is a lovely addition to any small world play scene. Bumbu Toys have hand-painted a gorgeous amount of detail in the shades of green across the foliage, and the trunk features lots of lovely ridged texture.

The Woodpecker is a striking bird in black and white with red on top of its head and the little Bird's Nest features three little handpainted eggs. Both the Woodpecker and the Nest have little pegs that are used to attach them to pre-drilled peg holes in the tree trunk. 

Being hand-finished, each of Bumbu's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, wood markings, grain, and knots showing through any dye or paint finishes. Bumbu glues together smaller pieces of wood to form larger pieces that are then cut to shape. This technique leaves less timber wastage and may be evidenced by small join lines across the pieces. Please note Bumbu Toys are not varnished nor lacquered, leaving the timber with a beautiful textural feel.
