In two shades of soft, dove grey, our Ostheimer Wooden Donkey Stubborn is a naughty but simply beautiful toy. He had his head down and is leaning back, pulling against something with all his might.

This lovely wooden donkey has been handcrafted from natural hardwood and is the perfect addition to a sweet farmyard scene. Ostheimer has carved him to perfection and added the sweetest little twine tail just to finish him off perfectly.

All Ostheimer Wooden Animal Toys are traced by hand in Germany onto natural, native hardwood (maple and elm), before being cut and sanded and then finished off by hand with up to six coats of non-toxic, water-soluble, transparent colour that is designed to show the beautiful woodgrain beneath.
