With immense care and love, Grapat has again designed the most wonderful, joy-sparking Advent Calendar and delivered it to our Australian shores, all in time for Christmas 2025.Grapat always creates special toys - you can see the thought and love that goes into each one - but the annual Grapat Advent Calendar is a particularly lovely example of this. 

Your child will delight in opening their Advent Calendar box for the first time to discover the 24 precious little boxes inside. Each contains something very special - little bowls, decorations, craft materials, trees, people, and more.

Some of the toys might seem familiar to those who know and love Grapat but each has something unique to the Advent Calendar, such as colour or painted detail. Not every box contains a wooden toy, some boxes contain simple raw materials for craft or play or even a simple idea. The boxes include prompts inviting your child to engage with what's inside and with their family, a craft, or nature. 

The Calendar also comes with a booklet full of hands-on authentic, creative activities to bring you together, connecting children to their family and community throughout the festive period. Your child might be prompted to think of others by writing a message and crafting a simple gift, or by baking little treats to share with neighbours.

The Advent Calendar is ultimately about bringing people together, thinking of others, appreciating the beauty of nature, and feeling the true spirit of Christmas. A calendar without boundaries waits patiently, each day a blank page ready to be filled with experiences, but also willing to be observed or let go, without rush and with plenty of time to enjoy them all year long.

Being hand-finished from natural materials, each of Grapat's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, paint finishes, wood grain, texture, and occasional wood knots showing. Please note Grapat wooden toys are stained, not painted, and they are not varnished.
