The Drewart Wooden Cash Register is wonderfully inviting for imaginative play. It comes complete with an opening cash drawer that dings a bell as it's lifted open, pretend push buttons, compartments for play money, a pretend scanner platform, a spot to swipe credit cards, and a turn crank that allows your child to change the number display on both the front and the back of the register.

Add this to your child's pretend shop or marketplace and introduce them to numbers and counting, along with customer service and social skills. The cash register does not calculate or do any sums as the push buttons are pretend only; it is all left to your child's imagination.

The Cash Register is made from high quality European alder wood and has been carefully handcrafted by skilled workers in Europe. This is a true heirloom piece; simply beautiful to pass down to children and grandchildren.

Being hand-crafted, each of Drewart's beautiful wooden toys is unique, with slightly different shaping, paint finishes, wood grain, texture, and occasional wood knots showing. Please note they are not varnished, instead any natural timber is oiled. The oil used may sometimes create patches of yellowed timber.
