The Bauspiel Window Shapes transparent wooden building blocks add an extra special element to play. Each of the six different block shapes - cloud, semi-circle, triangle, arch, rectangle, and hill - contains one to two see-through "jewels" in its centre. The gems invite children to discover light and the myriad of effects it brings: place them on a light table for a glowing array, near a window to shine a rainbow of colours over the floor.

Bauspiel Window Shapes are the perfect addition to a building block castle or house, forming oh so pretty windows, portholes, turrets, and rooflines. Each shape has a flat base to enable stacking by little hands.

This listing is for a third set of Bauspiel Window Shapes. You will receive 12 blocks, 2 in each of the 6 different shapes. Gem colours will be selected at random with a view to variety. This part set comes with its own solid timber base tray (designed to hold 36 blocks) for easy storage and display.

Being hand-finished, each of Bauspiel's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, wood markings, grain, and knots showing through any dye or paint finishes. Occasionally they may arrive with very minor dents from packing and transport; this is considered normal. Please note they are not varnished nor lacquered, leaving the timber with a beautiful textural feel. Cutouts are not sanded to a smooth finish.
