The Ostheimer Elephant Small Eating figurine is a lovely soft grey with expressive black eyes that give it a very gentle look. Its trunk is curled inwards towards its mouth. Please note the degree to which the trunk curls in on each individual figurine does vary.

This gorgeous, handcrafted timber toy is the perfect accessory in a child's bedroom or playroom. Our sweet Small Elephant toy is 8.5cm high. Her natural wooden body feels beautiful in the hand.

All Ostheimer Wooden Animal Toys are traced by hand in Germany onto natural, native hardwood (maple, elm, or ash), before being cut and sanded and then finished off by hand with up to six coats of non-toxic, water-soluble, transparent colour that is designed to show the beautiful woodgrain beneath. The soft edges of each toy are a hallmark of Ostheimer and what makes them just so lovely to play with. All Ostheimer toys meet the European and international safety standards and the European NORM EN 71 for toys.

As each Ostheimer figurine is created and finished by hand, they vary slightly in terms of shape, colouring, and the amount of woodgrain or knots showing through the colouring. Each animal is perfectly unique. Please note that are not varnished.
