Many small children are fascinated with garbage trucks; they're so big and noisy and they come at the same time each week to repeat the same actions. The Fagus Garbage Truck is a wonderful way for children to recreate the familiar scene of rubbish collection in their own play. Measuring a huge 43cm in length, the Garbage Truck comes complete with four wooden peg people and two wooden garbage bins. This particular beautiful orange version is a limited edition, with no more to be produced once they have sold out.

Carefully created from sustainable beech wood, the Fagus Garbage Truck has fully steerable red and black rubber-based wheels that are controlled by the large wooden knob on the cabin top. The rear gate of the truck can be raised up and down to lift the garbage bins. Sold separately, the Fagus Snow Plough can be attached to the front of the Garbage Truck to create a snow-clearing truck. 

Handmade in Germany using sustainable timber, Fagus's beautiful wooden vehicles are sturdy, heirloom toys that are a joy to play with. Fagus does not use screws or nails. Instead the timber pieces are interlocked, dowelled, and glued together for a beautiful smooth finish.

Being hand-finished, each of Fagus's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, colouring, wood grain, texture, and occasional wood knots showing.
