Could this be our favourite Grapat release ever? Yes! The Grapat Wild set is something to treasure forever and ever. Featuring twelve little wooden creatures and a beautifully crafted wooden storage tray with sliding lid, so much love and creativity has been poured into this truly open-ended set.

What can you and your child see in each creature? We see bugs and sea creatures, including a ladybird, an eel (or is it a worm or a snake?), an eagle ray, a caterpillar, a fish, and much much more. Each Wild toy has been individually handpainted and is a true work of art. Each toy also comes with its own little whimsical story that speaks straight to the heart. Examples include "I am a lucky little one, born on a Sunday. Carry me under your heart to share the luck", "I can eat all your sorrows, they are my favourite food", and "I spend all night in stinky socks and in the morning they are clean as new. Don't tell anyone, it's a secret".

Made from natural timber with water-based colour stain, the 12 Wild creatures feel beautiful in the hand and are simply wonderful for outdoor, messy, sensory play. Just give each toy a gentle wipe with a slightly damp cloth afterwards and remember, they're designed for play and it's ok if they get a little worn or dirty; you will treasure those marks as your children grow up.

Being hand-finished from natural materials, each of Grapat's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, paint finishes, wood grain, texture, and occasional wood knots showing. Please note they are stained, not painted, and they are not varnished.
