Bumbu Toys have named their beautiful Peasant Girl "Mariuca". She takes her ducklings on a walk to the lake every day, as she just loves to take care of animals. "Caring for animals and enjoying nature is one of the lessons we are never too young to learn. We should all learn to treasure the beauty of protecting and nurturing the world we live in."

Mariuca has an incredible amount of handpainted detail, from her green kerchief decorated with flowers, to her hair and face, to the detail on the edges of her mostly-white dress. The Bumbu Girl's arms are jointed, allowing your child to pose them as they wish. One of her hands has a hole through it, to allow her to hold items such as a swatch, a fishing rod, or a bunch of flowers.

Each of Bumbu's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, wood markings, grain, and knots showing through any dye or paint finishes. Handpainted details are wonderfully unique from piece to piece and might not look identical to the stock pictures. Please note Bumbu Toys pieces are not varnished nor lacquered, leaving the timber with a beautiful textural feel.
