The little NOM Handcrafted Swamp Hen is really quite busy, pecking away in search of worms, grubs, and insects. Our Swamp Hen has been carefully crafted and painted by hand in charcoal grey and brown, with a reddish beak. The Swamp Hen is part of NOM's Water Bird collection.

Each NOM Handcrafted wooden animal, bird, tree, and landscape toy is made from sustainably and ethically sourced hard maple wood right here in Australia.

Being handcrafted, each of NOM Handcrafted's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, size, wood markings, grain, and knots showing through any dye or paint finishes, which themselves might vary slightly in colour or application.
