The Robin Redbreast is such a sweet little bird in real life, and this is also true when it comes to the beautiful Ostheimer Redbreast. Her lovely pinkish red breast is set off by shades of brown across the rest of her feathers, beak, and feet.

She stands at 3.5cm tall and is just waiting to be added to your forest or farm small world play scene.

All Ostheimer Wooden Animal Toys are traced by hand in Germany onto natural, native hardwood (maple, elm, or ash), before being cut and sanded and then finished off by hand with up to six coats of non-toxic, water-soluble, transparent colour that is designed to show the beautiful woodgrain beneath. The soft edges of each toy are a hallmark of Ostheimer and what makes them just so lovely to play with. All Ostheimer toys meet the European and international safety standards and the European NORM EN 71 for toys.

As each Ostheimer figurine is created and finished by hand, they vary slightly in terms of shape, colouring, and the amount of woodgrain or knots showing through the colouring. Each animal is perfectly unique.
