The Bauspiel Windows transparent wooden building blocks add an extra special element to play. The see-through "jewels" in the centre of each of the 5 timber blocks allows children to discover light and the myriad of effects it brings: place them on a light table for a glowing array, near a window to shine a rainbow of colours over the floor, or look through them for a kaleidoscope view of the world. 

Bauspiel Windows, true to their name, are also the perfect addition to a building block castle or house, forming oh so pretty windows and portholes.

This listing is for a partial set of Bauspiel Windows. You will receive 15 blocks. This part set comes with its own solid base tray (designed to fit 25 Windows) for easy storage and display.

Being hand-finished, each of Bauspiel's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, wood markings, grain, and knots showing through any dye or paint finishes. Occasionally they may arrive with very minor dents from packing and transport; this is considered normal. Please note they are not varnished nor lacquered, leaving the timber with a beautiful textural feel. Cutouts are not sanded to a smooth finish.
