Our Ostheimer Wooden Animals are so beautiful to hold and play with. The little Rabbit With Ears Up is no exception. It perfectly captures the likeness of a little bunny rabbit sitting in a field, perhaps listening to something far away. At 7.5cm tall, she looks beautiful sitting on a shelf in a nursery or playroom.

All Ostheimer Timber Toys are traced by hand in Germany onto natural, native hardwood (maple and elm), before being cut and sanded and then finished off by hand with up to six coats of non-toxic, water-soluble, transparent colour that is designed to show the beautiful woodgrain beneath. The soft edges of each toy are a hallmark of Ostheimer and what makes them just so lovely to play with. All Ostheimer toys meet the European and international safety standards and the European NORM EN 71 for toys.
