Your child can play with the figures while you read them the story and then continue with imaginative play afterwards, retelling the story to themselves and perhaps even coming up with new stories featuring the characters.

Possum Magic by Mem Fox with illustrations by Julie Vivas is an Australian classic. It tells the beautiful story of Grandma Poss and Hush. Grandma uses magic to make Hush invisible and keep her safe but when Hush wants to reappear they must travel around Australia together, trying a range of iconic Aussie foods to see which combination will make little Hush visible again. This is a special 35th Anniversary edition of this gorgeous book, with a hardcover book that inserts into a hardcover case.

Each NOM Handcrafted wooden animal, bird, tree, and landscape toy is made from sustainably and ethically sourced hard maple wood right here in Australia.

Being handcrafted, each of NOM Handcrafted's beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, size, wood markings, grain, and knots showing through any dye or paint finishes, which themselves might vary slightly in colour or application.
